About Me

Dr Ayesha Zaman
MBBS, MRCGP, DRCOG, ALHC

Some years ago, when I stepped into a new leadership role, I realised that I was supposed to have the answers, yet inside I felt anything but certain and was wrestling with self-doubt. This self doubt was presenting itself as perfectionism, people pleasing, and lack of self preserving boundaries. The impact was I took more responsibility without ability to delegate successfully. I was heading towards burnout. That was the moment my employer enrolled me in a structured leadership development programme—and for the first time, I received coaching that was just for me.

That experience became a turning point. It opened a door to self‑discovery, learning, and real transformation. I worked with an incredible coach who helped me learn how to quiet the noise around me so I could finally hear my own voice again. And somewhere along the way, I realised something simple but powerful: the answers we search for are often already within us. We just need the right space, the right tools, and the right support to uncover them.

I’ve always believed that when people grow, organisations grow. Change at a personal level ripples outward—shifting teams, cultures, and systems. That belief is what led me to where I stand today as a coach, and why I founded BeThriveGrow®. It’s a space where you can pause, breathe, and reconnect with what truly matters to you. My approach blends compassionate listening with practical, grounded strategies so you can move from feeling stuck to feeling clear, confident, and empowered.

If you’re standing at your own crossroads—unsure, overwhelmed, or simply ready for something more—I’d be honoured to walk alongside you as you take your next step forward.

My professional background spans healthcare and leadership in  large corporate environments. I am a medical doctor, with over 25 years of experience working in healthcare combined with senior leadership roles in UK and Dubai.  I have led large teams, worked at senior leadership and system level, and supported professionals through high responsibility, complexity and change.

I now bring this breadth of experience into my work as a Coach. This is not theoretical coaching, it is practical, insight -driven support grounded in behavioural psychology, an understanding of stress and human performance and real world leadership. I am trained and have experience in coaching neurodiverse professionals.

I am a Certified DISC Assesor, have completed training in Coaching for neurodiverse individuals and currently completing accreditation with The Coaching Academy in Life and Executive Coaching.
